Honoring the late Bud Powell Jazz pianist
Earl Rudolph "Bud" Powell , a genius who he defines in his music the bebop. He starting playing classical panio at the early age, but his roots was in Jazz. While a teenager, Bud his older brother William, younger brother Richie and school friend Elmo Hope. They were also accomplished pianists and have significant careers too. Bud's own transcriptions of pianists Art Tatum and Fats Waller. Thelonious Monk was Bud's teacher and friend throughout his life.
